Larry Walshe transformed the gardens of the Rodin Museum in Paris into an ethereal floral dreamscape, drawing inspiration from the romance and refinement captured in the design imagery. Set against the museum’s manicured hedges and classical sculptures, the ceremony unfolded beneath a sculptural floral arch overflowing with blush and ivory roses, delicate hydrangeas, trailing amaranthus, and layered seasonal foliage.

The installation felt as though it had grown organically from the landscape itself — a living frame that echoed the softness of an Impressionist painting while honouring the grandeur of its Parisian setting. The palette of powdery pinks, creams, and fresh greens created a poetic dialogue with the stone pathways and surrounding greenery, resulting in a ceremony scene that was both timeless and unmistakably contemporary.

For the reception, held within a glass-enclosed dining pavilion overlooking the gardens, Walshe elevated the concept into a fully immersive floral environment. Three magnificent suspended floral chandeliers were installed above the dining tables, each abundant with cascading blooms and verdant foliage that mirrored the ceremony arch.

These dramatic overhead installations appeared to float effortlessly, softening the architectural lines of the structure and enveloping guests in a canopy of flowers. Beneath them, round tables were dressed in richly patterned linens in muted botanical tones, layered with fine china, crystal glassware, and garden-inspired centrepieces that blended seamlessly into the overall aesthetic.
