BRIEF
To create a sophisticated yet youthful design for a VIP sweet sixteenth party at the iconic Claridge’s Hotel in London using blue & white tones. The design needed to be classical to compliment the Claridge’s Ballroom but also have unique moments.
To create a classic and luxurious setting, we paired our client’s favourite flowers, blue hydrangea alongside white roses to result in a scheme perfect for a sweet sixteen party at Claridge’s London.
As guest entered, huge urns filled with hundreds of blue hydrangea flowers created a chic yet striking impact. The Rotunda was then filled by an enormous, enchanted tree which had never been seen at Claridge’s before.
This featured a cascading canopy of blue delphinium, a signature design of Larry Walshe Studios and sat within the bar alongside a sea of candlelight to create the perfect welcome to this special sweet sixteenth birthday party. Inside the Ballroom, a classic and elegant scheme using blue & white colours were created on each table.
Tall flower arrangements were complimented by crystal candlelight and platinum tableware to result in a chic overall look which still felt accessible to our young guests. The Ballroom itself was then totally transformed into a smart nightclub with a glittered stage, illuminated crackle glaze dance-floor and epic video wall backdrop. Surrounded by lounge seating, this was the perfect space to party the night away!
