THE
BRIEF

To create a modern and contemporary wedding design at the iconic Victoria & Albert Museum in London for a stylish couple who value minimalism and considered design. The bride loved nude and cappuccino roses and wanted luxurious yet understated wedding flowers that would enhance the V&A museum and its striking interior decoration.

When conceiving a wedding design with our clients, we always look to work harmoniously with the venue and space around us. For this particular wedding, we took the brides love of nude and cappuccino coloured flowers and sought inspiration from the other colours visible in the artwork on the walls. Using vintage tones that work against grand masters, we resulted in a floral arrangements that were hugely impactful and befitting of such an iconic venue.

The Final Creation

Guests entered into the main Dome and enjoyed a standing cocktail reception surrounded by delicate floral arrangements and a large botanical design in the centre of the bar. Within the Raphael Gallery, we created a hugely impactful yet delicate scheme using thousands of stylish wedding flowers in a multitude of chic glass stem vases.

Cut crystal lanterns and accessories elevated the wedding design further whilst contemporary clear ghost chairs and crisp white linen juxtaposed the deep blue walls of the gallery itself. Gloriously considered, this modern wedding in spring featured scented sweetpeas, fragrant stocks, scabiosa and large hybrid roses.
