Following our first Christmas with The Berkeley and the success of the chic and refined scheme we imagined, we were invited once again to redefine Christmas in a modern yet accessible manner.
The 5-star Berkely Hotel in Knightsbridge, London were keen to add the traditional spirit of Christmas this year, ensuring that the overall look continued to represent the epitome of British luxury for which the property has become renowned. It is imperative that each element installed within the hotel is representational of the brand, its values and the message it wishes to convey throughout the holiday season.
A spectacular lighting installation at the entrance to the modern London hotel greets guests and residents alike. Formed from a pair of white winter trees, the canopy extends across the whole frontage of the hotel and includes thousands upon thousands of cascading warm white lights. Silver mirror orbs, nestled by winter woodland textures then cascade down the entrance steps to offer a truly refined Christmas design.
Internally, the spirit of Christmas was designed using a traditional palette of silver, white and frosted tones. Silver mirror present boxes scattered across the floor add a contemporary nod to perfectly decorated Christmas trees.
Christmas trees are added throughout the hotel at every turn so as to ensure each and every hotel guest feels the spirit of the season.
The Collins Rooms, home to the iconic Pret-a-Portea afternoon tea, is once again decorated with the most beautiful Christmas arch designs. These are adorned with bespoke Christmas baubles made using silver mirror. Each brings to life one of the afternoon tea collection to ensure a truly meaningful transformation is realised, packed full of detail and flair.
Giant silver mirror present boxes are piled high and filled with cascading Christmas decorations. Fresh and fragrant spruce casts a soft scent throughout the hotel whilst frosted decorations in silver and white tones continue our frosty Christmas theme at every turn.
New for 2022, Cedric Grolet at The Berkeley was given the Midas Touch.
