THE
BRIEF

Creating the most playful and gloriously endearing scenography which will encourage social media and guest engagement throughout Chelsea in Bloom 2019 and seeking inspiration from this year’s theme “Under the Sea”, a seascape with swimming dolphins.

Using both the interior and exterior of the window, our playful dolphins, hand carved by skilled artisans will veritably dance through the water and the window alike as part of this beautifully detailed installation.

Crafted using algae inspired mosses, shells and other natural husks, they will be complimented further by long reaching vines of kelp in the window to further enhance the deep sea aesthetic. Sand will also be applied to the base of the window interior as a further layer of detail.

Coral clusters, packed full of detail and texture and crafted using rocks and branches adorned with algae inspired ingredients, seaweed inspired plants and other natural materials as referenced overleaf will all combine to not only hide the supporting structure but work to add the final finishing flourish.
