Set within the dramatic architecture of the Gilder Center in New York, Larry Walshe conceived a corporate celebration that balanced contemporary elegance with an atmosphere of warm hospitality.

Drawing inspiration from the building’s sweeping curves and monumental staircases, the design centred on an inviting lounge environment beneath the vast atrium. Rich caramel-toned sofas, sculptural wooden side tables, and intimate clusters of seating transformed the expansive space into a series of relaxed social settings where guests could gather, connect, and enjoy the evening.

Floral design played a central role in the visual narrative, with abundant arrangements of glossy foliage, evergreen textures, and vibrant clusters of orange berries weaving through the lounge installations. A striking central composition ran through the main seating area, cascading organically over the furniture and grounding the space with a sense of natural movement.

Smaller arrangements featuring sculptural blooms and seasonal botanicals were placed throughout cocktail tables and bars, echoing the palette of burnished copper, amber, and deep green that complemented the venue’s architectural tones.
