41 Portland Place is a central London venue providing period and modern rooms for events and meetings. Set within the prestigious home of the Academy of Medical Sciences, the venue is conveniently located close to Oxford Circus, Regents Park and Marylebone.

The Grade II* listed Georgian townhouse provides event spaces that combine period grandeur and modern facilities ideal for conferences, pop up events, press briefings, product launches, receptions and dinners. The spacious terrace also offers a sought after outdoor space for summer events.

You can also enjoy exclusive hire of the entire venue for your big day, allowing you to make the most of every part of the venue, from the elegant first floor to the two spacious ground-floor suites.

Hospitality at 41 Portland Place is in the capable hands of H+J. Resident Head Chef, Julian Moore, is a highly experienced professional who is extremely flexible when designing and delivering menus. He would be happy to meet with you prior to your event to create a bespoke menu to fit with the design and flow of your event.

From creative canapés & bubbly or traditional three course dinners, to authentic food stalls inspired by the streets of Korea and Sri Lanka or simply a delicious barbecue with all the trimmings on the outdoor terrace, the Harbour & Jones team at 41 Portland Place can offer any style of catering your event requires.

 

Ann Rylands & Terrace

Ideal meeting space for up to 12 people. A lovely room, full of light and charm with access to it’s own private rooftop terrace.

AMS1

AMS1 is a natural light filled, modern meeting room with a capacity of 15. Perfect for small training days and includes an LCD screen and Wifi.

Wolfson Conference Suite

Purpose built conference and seminar room for 10 – 70 people with fantastic audio visual facilities Half day rates are available.

Council Chamber & Reception

The Council Chamber is equipped with state of the art audio visual facilities including HD projector, 190″ screen, hearing loop, lectern with Microphone, PA System, hand held and lapel microphones. Featuring natural day light from large sash windows, the room is perfect for conferences for up to 80 people. The reception Room serves as a light filled space for delegates to enjoy their catering breaks

Exhibition Area

The space is bright and modern, with gleaming floors, a high ceiling, and warm, plentiful lighting. Also available to hire along with the adjacent Wolfson Conference Suite, the Exhibition Area is ideal for use as a catering space, breakout area, or break room in between work sessions. Available equipment includes and HD projector with a screen, a mobile presentation unit, and a laptop.

Laurie Landeau 

The Laurie Landeau room is a period room fit for up to 24 guests for a meeting or training day. The space featuring natural light and the high ceilings which characterise the period.
